Agitator

I'M A.B.L.E>Agitator
Carolyn McCardell

I recently went into Home Depot looking for a new washer. Among the washers there were some that had agitators and some that didn’t. I ask the sales person, aside from the cost, what was the difference between the two? He told me that the one without the agitator is gentler on fabrics verses the agitator which is harsh on fabrics and over time wears them down. He told me the washer without the agitator was more expensive but eventually I would be saving money because it used less water. This information was surprising to me because I thought that washers needed the agitator to get the clothes clean. I had no idea that it was the agitator that was actually damaging my clothes!!

I thought about this and I applied it to my life. I asked myself, was I an agitator? My answer to this question unfortunately was yes. I have been an agitator towards my husband. The meaning of agitator is one who stirs up public feeling on controversial issues. Every time I would nag about something that I perceived he should being doing or every time I would ask him to solve a problem that I knew he couldn’t solve this would cause him to be agitated. Every time I would deal with him harshly I was wearing him down. I thought as long as I was speaking the truth then I was ok, I was just being real. But when I read Ephesians 4:15 about speaking the truth in love this made me feel bad about the words I chose to use. The agitation that he must have felt, after looking up the word agitation which means an A stirring up or arousing; disturbance of tranquility; disturbance of mind which shows itself by physical excitement; perturbation; as, to cause any one agitation. Not only was I an agitator toward my husband but I dealt with my boys just a harshly. In proverbs 14:1 a wise woman builds her home but the foolish woman tears it down with her own hands. I was tearing my home down by being a agitator.
But glory be to God that he gave me the ability to recognize that agitating spirit” and allowing me to correct my behavior.

Agitating other people to the point of anger is not the Will of God. Provoking anger is demeaning and very disrespectful and it the opposite of showing love, caring, kindness, and compassion Are you a agitator or you stirring things up in someone which can be a husband, a child, a friend, a coworker, etc.? If so please learn from my testimony, an agitator is not needed to get the job done in fact without it you would use less energy and wont damage or wear down the people we are suppose to lift up and encourage!! In I Thessalonians 5:11 Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.

God Bless!!

J. A. T

Some people are just living to die and there are others that are fighting to live. Don't live your life without hope, without expectation. Jesus didn't die for us for us to have no hope. He died so we can live. I see some many people who are fighting cancer some of them dying of cancer who really spend their weak moments encouraging someone who has a broken heart. I know this is because I was the one who was being encouraged by someone who was fighting for their life. I noticed her strength her determination her faith. I didnt know what she was going thru until after she listened to my issues of pain. I felt so bad after hearing what she was going through but it gave me what I needed to know which is everyone is going through somethings but it is all about perspective. I took notice of how different our perspectives were mine was a place of just giving up and hers was that she is going to do whatever it took to live. She said it didnt feel good and she had bad moments but she prayed for strength to get thru those moments. So trust me when i tell you when you decide that you want to fight to live your perspective will change. You will start to include Jesus in your issues. I don't know what u might be facing today but I dare u to pray and not about your issues ask God to reveal to you who is worst off than you are and start to pray for them. I am not trying to minimize your pain, your worries, issues or circumstances I am trying to get you to fight to get to the maximum of what God has for you. Don't allow your issues to keep you in a vicious cycle of living your life just making it. I have learned that I can not put magnifying glass to my emotions or issues it makes it bigger than what it is and put God under the microscope making Him smaller than who He is. Not ever good to do. So what ever you are facing today face it with hope and expect to make it to the other side because there is another side and when u know that you will start fighting to live the life that Christ died for you to have. Remember it could be worst. Take time to pray for someone else.
Be Blessed

Never allow your emotions to override the truth

My stepfather use to fuss with everyone he was a man who drove you crazy but no one could stay mad at him long. One of his favorite saying when fussing with my mom was that if she continue to do whatever they were fussing about that all of her children will be born naked lol!! My mom was so caught up in the fussing that she denied that it could ever be possible. She told him that he was a lie that none of her kids were born naked and then she had to think about it lol!!

Point of the story is never allow your emotions to override your senses or the truth. The truth is the truth whether you are mad or not. Every child will be born naked and no amount of anger could ever change that , People see the truth through their own emotions and no matter if they are mad at you or not you are who you are. And that is the truth nothing else matters. My stepfather knew how to push her buttons and others know how to push yours and the way you can deal with that is dont allow your emotions to take over. Be Blessed

No Story No Glory

If you are dealing with something and shame is keeping you quiet
If your shame is louder than you cry out.
If you are drowning and you are to ashamed to ask for help.
If you are drinking or doing drugs to forget your shame.
I just want you to know that
shame/silence is the one of the biggest weapon that the enemy uses against  Christians
shame is meant to keep you silent and silent is meant to keep you in bondage
And bondage is meant to keep you stagnant
Stagnancy means not to advance or develop.

In the ER on electronic monitor when a line is the same all the way across the screen means that the person has flat lined and flat lined means that person has died. The meaning of flat lined: in a state of no progress or advancement and that is what the enemy wants for our lives. He not only wants us to be physically dead he also wants us to be spiritually dead not living the life that God wants us to live.
God can only get the glory when we open our mouths. Don’t live in bondage because you are too afraid to say something. I have did things based on my own understanding because I did not have the courage to open my mouth about the things that enemy had me to believe.
No matter what we have done it can never separate us from God’s love.

No story no Glory.

J.A.T>Will for my life

One thing I use to fear the most is living life according to my will that may lead me to die outside of God's Will for my life. . It isnt about me. I know my life has purpose and has to glorify Him according to Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. If you are living inside God's Will that means you will die inside His will. Get into His Word find out what is His will for your life. Be Blessed

Who I Use to Be

Who I Use to Be

Who I use to be,is not who I am today but I can not deny who I was, no matter what If was filled with anger then I use to filled with anger, If was bitter then I was bitter, if I had low self esteem then that is what I had. I can not deny who I use to be nor do I have any desires to because who I use to be goes hand and hand on who I am today. Who I am today is a God fearing who had issues of anger, bitterness and a low self esteem but Glory be to God for his transformation of who I am.

I was reading the bible and I read how Saul (Paul) had persecuted anyone who believed in Jesus how much comtempt he had for them how he throwing them into jail to putting them to death. He basically told the people who were following Jesus I will see you dead! Until one day that he encountered a devine presence on a trip to Damascus!! His liffe was never the same after that. His name was changed from Saul to Paul a he was a great Apostle. What a transformation.

The meaning of transformation: A marked change, as in appearance or character, usually for the better.

Without that transformation happening we would be missing thirteen of twenty-seven books of the New Testament. Now keep in mind Paul never denied who he was!! 1 Timothy 1:12-15, I thank him who has given me strength, Christ Jesus our Lord, because he judged me faithful, appointing me to his service, though formerly I was a blasphemer, persecutor, and insolent opponent. But I received mercy because I had acted ignorantly in unbelief, and the grace of our Lord overflowed for me with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost.

So when someone remembers who you use to be just admit it and say thanks be to God that I am not that same person. Let me introduce to “Who I am today” Who I am in Christ. A great friend well a great sister wrote something for me one day which was so profound she said I was who my circumstances made me to be, to now being the daughter of the Most High!! Amen!! Your past doesn’t cancel out your future it is just a testimony of the Goodness of God!!

Remember you are in the process of being transformed and true transformation is a process so you are not going to be perfect so don’t get discouraged when you make mistakes because that is apart of the spiritual development. In Philippians 3:12-16 12 Not that I have already attained this—that is, I have not already been perfected—but I strive to lay hold of that for which I also was laid hold of by Christ Jesus. 13 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself to have attained this. Instead I am single-minded: forgetting the things behind and reaching out for the things ahead, 14 with this goal in mind, I strive toward the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. 15 Let those of us who are “perfect” embrace this point of view. If you think otherwise, God will reveal to you the error of your ways. 16 Nevertheless, let us live up to the standard that we have already attained. Keep striving!! Keep the faith!! No matter who you use to be!!

God Bless!!

Fear of the Unknown

Fear of the Unknown

Thinking back when I was going through my divorce and the emotions that came along with it. I really can't explain how painful this process was for me. What I can disclose is that I hadn't ever experienced that much pain before. My world as I knew it was turned upside down going through a divorce is extremely hard and emotionally draining. Change was knocking at my door and I was not ready to deal with it. I have always been afraid of change even if the situation was going from bad to good. The fear of the unknown stops me and makes me want to turn back to the familiar. I know what I had,  I just don’t know what I will get was one of my biggest fear. Should I turn back to what I have always known which is pain, rejection anger and most of all insecurities or should I move forward and trusting God was my one of my biggest struggle. One of my old friends told me that she had a vision that I was in the hall way and there were two doors one was closed and dark, the other one was open and was bright but something in me was focused on the closed dark door. My ex husband has even told me that I embraced pain as a way of life. That was then and this is now I have no reason to be afraid of the unknown because in God’s word in Jeremiah 29:11 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Moving ahead to something new is scary for everyone , doubt creeps in but it requires that we have faith that God is there every step of the way. My divorce is final and I have no choice but to trust that God’s Will for my life is for my good and I can't allow my emotions to send me into panic mode like I have no hope. When we allow our emotions to drive, we tend to do and say stupid stuff but if we stand firm on God’s Word we will see the victory. I received this verse this morning which is from Exodus 14:13 Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. 14 The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.” not only did I receive this morning. In this verse I just replaced Egyptians with what I was going thru, so it said the pain I feel today I will never see again. So I just want to encourage you that whatever you are going thru that has you worried or in pain let it go and let God fight it for you. When you read further down in Exodus 14 15 Then the LORD said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on. 16 Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water so that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground. 17 I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians so that they will go in after them. And I will gain glory through Pharaoh and all his army, through his chariots and his horsemen. God is telling us to move on and He will make a way out for us and He will allow our problems, trials and tribulations to come after us not to get us but so that He can get the Glory. I have to admit moving on to the next chapter in my life was scary but when I read the Word I have hope that He allowed me to go through this for my good but His Glory. As I was writing this, a text message came thru with the scripture Isaiah 43:19 19 See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. God is so amazing!! He is with us in our darkest moments please just know that.  Trust and believe what God is doing in your life.

Be Blessed!!
